Immigration & Education Forum
The Immigration & Education Forum was of great success this past July. The Immigration Panel formed by Corporal Gonzalez (SAPD), Dr. Martinez (Fuller Seminary), Rev. Alexia Salvatierra (CLUE), Angelica Salas (CHIRLA) and Lisa Ramirez (immigration lawyer) was of great help to the community in regards to local law, immigrant rights and policy. We also had Dr. Araque and Mrs. Vitko from the Orange County Dept. of Education share the 10 Commandments of Education for Parents.
Thank you to all of the organizations that contributed to making this event a success!
Foro de Inmigración y Educación
El Foro de Inmigración y Educación fue un gran éxito este pasado julio. El panel de inmigración compuesto por el oficial Gonzalez (SAPD), el Dr. Martínez (Seminario Fuller), la Rev. Alexia Salvatierra (CLUE), Angelica Salas (CHIRLA) y Lisa Ramirez (abogada de inmigración) fue de mucha ayuda e infomación para la comunidad sobre la ley local, derechos del inmigrante y política. También tuvimos al Dr. Araque y la Sra. Vitko del Departamento de Educacion del Condado de Orange quienes compartieron un taller sobre Los 10 Mandamientos de la Educación para Padres.
Gracias a todas las organizaciones y voluntarios que contribuyeron en hacer de este evento un gran éxito.
